Step 1: Log In to Your GoDaddy Account

  1. Open your web browser and go to GoDaddy.com.
  2. Click on Sign In at the top right corner of the page.
  3. Enter your username and password, then click Sign In.

Step 2: Go to Your Domain Control Center

  1. Once logged in, click on your name at the top right corner of the page, then click My Products.
  2. Under the Domains section, click Manage All.

Step 3: Select Your Domain

  1. Find the domain you want to update and click on it.
  2. This will take you to the Domain Settings page.

Step 4: Access the Name Server Settings

  1. Scroll down to the Additional Settings section.
  2. Click on Manage DNS.

Step 5: Change Your Name Servers

  1. In the Nameservers section, click on the Change button.
  2. Select the option Enter my own nameservers (advanced).

Step 6: Enter the New Name Servers

  1. In the Nameserver 1 field, enter: ns1.appalachiadigital.com
  2. In the Nameserver 2 field, enter: ns2.appalachiadigital.com
  3. Click Save.

Step 7: Confirm Your Changes

  1. You may be prompted to confirm your changes. If so, review the details and click Yes or Save to confirm.

 

Important Notes:

  • Propagation Time: It may take up to 48 hours for the changes to take effect globally. This is known as DNS propagation.
  • Double-check Entries: Ensure there are no typos in the nameserver addresses.
